Delete your account

From the app

Go to sboard > Account > Delete account and confirm. The account is deleted straight away.

Without the app

Write to [email protected] from your Google account’s email, with the subject “Delete my sboard account”. We delete it within one month at most (usually within a few days) and confirm it by email. If you write from another address, we’ll ask you to prove the account is yours.

What is deleted

Your account (your email and Google ID), your sessions, your detailed usage, your reports and your usage counters.

What is kept, and for how long

• Service usage totals, without your identity.
• The log of administrative actions, with your internal ID and without your email.
• Server logs, with your internal ID, for up to 15 days.
• Encrypted database backups, for up to 14 days; after that they delete themselves.
• What the AI providers (Anthropic and OpenAI) received for your suggestions, for up to 30 days under their terms (longer if their systems flagged it for abuse). More in the privacy policy.

On your phone

Deleting the account doesn’t delete what’s stored on the phone. To delete everything, uninstall the app. If you’d rather keep it: sboard > Learn from you > Delete what’s stored; sboard > Keyboard and typing > Word prediction > Delete what’s learned; and leave your notes empty.
