Terms of use
Last updated: 21 October 2026
Please read these terms carefully. By creating your sboard account you accept them, confirm that you have read the privacy policy and that you are 18 or older. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.
1. About us
These terms (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of sboard, the Android keyboard with artificial intelligence, and of its website sboardapp.com, owned by Nexalix Technologies S.L.U. (“Nexalix” or “we”), registered office at Avenida Maisonnave 41, 3ºB, 03003 Alicante (Spain), tax ID (NIF) B26841171, registered in the Alicante Commercial Register, Volume (Tomo) 0, Book (Libro) 1, Folio 0, Section GNE, Sheet (Hoja) 203899. Contact: [email protected].
sboard is meant for adults who use it for personal purposes. If you act as a consumer, you are also protected by consumer law, in particular Spain’s Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of 16 November (TRLGDCU), and nothing in these Terms limits the rights it gives you.
2. What sboard is and what it doesn’t do
sboard is an information society service (Spanish Law 34/2002 of 11 July, LSSI-CE): a keyboard that suggests replies for your chats. Suggestions are generated by artificial intelligence: they may be inaccurate, not fit the conversation or, although we try to prevent it, be inappropriate. You review them, edit them if you like and decide whether to send them.
To follow the conversation, sboard uses Android’s accessibility service and, with your consent, sends the chat to our servers and to AI providers, as explained in the privacy policy.
sboard never sends messages for you or presses buttons in other apps, and it is not a party to your conversations or to any agreements you reach in them. sboard is independent of WhatsApp, Instagram, Google, Anthropic and OpenAI, which neither sponsor nor endorse it.
3. Your account
You sign in with your Google account. You agree to:
- use a Google account of your own, not someone else’s;
- not transfer, lend or share your sboard account;
- take due care of your phone and your Google account;
- tell us as soon as possible at [email protected] if you think someone is using your account without your permission, and sign out in the app.
The account is personal. Under clause 8, we may suspend or close accounts with reasonable signs that someone else is using them or that they are duplicated to get around the usage limits.
4. Price and usage limits
Today sboard is free, with a monthly usage limit you can see in the app (sboard > Account). The included features and the limit may change within reason; if a change is significant, we will tell you in the app. If we offer paid plans later, before you sign up we will tell you their price (including VAT), their duration and your right of withdrawal, and you will only pay if you sign up.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use sboard diligently, lawfully and in good faith. In particular, you may not use it to:
- harass, threaten, intimidate, deceive or impersonate anyone, or send unsolicited commercial messages;
- do anything illegal, or process other people’s conversations in breach of the law;
- generate content that breaks the usage policies of our AI providers (Anthropic and OpenAI);
- get around the usage limits, create several accounts to do so, overload the service or automate requests;
- copy, decompile or reverse-engineer the app or the server, except as the law allows;
- introduce viruses or malicious code, or try to access our systems without permission.
Please also follow the rules of the apps where you use it, such as WhatsApp and Instagram.
6. What you write and the suggestions
What you write, your notes and your conversations are yours. You give us permission to process them (a non-exclusive, free licence limited to what is necessary) for the sole purpose of providing the service, as explained in the privacy policy; the permission ends when you delete them or delete your account.
You may freely use the suggestions you choose. Because they are generated by AI, other people may get similar suggestions, and we don’t guarantee that they are original. You are responsible for what you send: review it first.
7. Reporting a suggestion
If a suggestion is offensive, wrong or inappropriate, report it from the keyboard with the suggestion’s ”⋯” button. The report carries the suggestion and the reason, never the chat. We review reports and use them to adjust the service to avoid such suggestions. You can also write to us at [email protected].
8. Suspension and termination
We may temporarily suspend or close your account, or limit a feature, if:
- you break these Terms or the law;
- there are well-founded signs of fraud, impersonation or abuse of the service;
- a competent authority asks us to;
- there is a reasonable risk to the security of the service or of other people.
Where the nature of the breach allows it, we will warn you first and give you a reasonable time to fix it. Closing the account does not release you from any liability you may have incurred.
You can stop using sboard and delete your account whenever you like, from the app or as explained in Delete your account. Afterwards, your data is handled as the privacy policy says.
9. Availability and liability
We use reasonable technical means to make sboard work well, but we don’t guarantee that it will always be available or error-free, or that suggestions will be correct or appropriate. We may change or stop offering features; if we shut down the service, we will tell you in advance.
We are not liable for:
- the content of the suggestions you send, or the consequences of sending them;
- your conversations or the conduct of the people you talk to;
- failures or outages of third-party services we cannot intervene in (Android, WhatsApp, Instagram, Google or the AI providers);
- failures caused by force majeure: circumstances beyond our reasonable control that could not be foreseen or that, if foreseen, could not be avoided by acting diligently.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability where the law does not allow it, in particular towards consumers, or in cases of wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Outside those cases, our total liability to you under these Terms will not exceed the amounts you have paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to it or, if lower, one hundred (100) euros.
10. Intellectual and industrial property
The app, the server, their code, their design, the “sboard” brand and its domain belong to Nexalix or its licensors. We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable right to use sboard under these Terms. You may not reproduce, distribute, transform or exploit the app except as the law allows, or use our trademarks without our written permission. WhatsApp, Instagram, Android and Google are trademarks of their owners.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms because of legal, technical or operational changes, or when we add features. We will publish the new version on this page with its date and, if the change affects you significantly, we will tell you in the app in advance. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account before it takes effect; if you keep using sboard afterwards, we will take it that you accept it.
12. Severability
If a court or authority declares a clause void or unenforceable, the rest remains in force, and the affected clause will be replaced by one that complies with the law and comes as close as possible to its purpose.
13. Language
These Terms are written in Spanish. The English version is for information: if there are differences, the Spanish version prevails.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, the courts of your place of residence have jurisdiction; in all other cases, the parties submit to the courts of Alicante (Spain). Before going to court, you can write to us to try to resolve the matter, and you can also complain to the consumer affairs services of your region.
15. Contact
For any question, complaint or request about these Terms, write to [email protected]. About your personal data, write to our data protection officer: [email protected].
